What is up my people!
Well tonight i started back at Chili's.  It might be wierd but i really like dish washing....Ever since i was a kid i liked to get wet and make messes, but it is great because now i get paid for is (a goodly amount if i do say so myself)!!!  On a health note ...ding... my mouth feels much better, though i have rather odd lump on my lower left side...I like it. I dont have much else to say.  I am glad that things are starting to get less boring here....but i cant wait to get back to EMU.  WOOT WOOT!

Leave some love

Side Bar - ANGELS IN AMERICA = WIERD INTERESTING MOVIE THAT IS WORTH SIX HOURS OF YOUR TIME (if you are extremely right wing [there is nothing wrong with that] you will most likely not enjoy it...almost everybody in it is gay)

buh bye

HELLO ALL!
yes i am alive even though i have not updated my xanga in a while (after all, we know that if you do not updater xanga then you are most likley dead).  School is done.  I cant believe that my freshman year went so fast.  It was a great year and it is going to be hard to stay at home for four months.
I got my wisdom teeth out this morning.  I was kind of fun...as fun as getting parts ripped from our body can be.  I am actually in a really great mode right now (though my cheeks - face cheeks - are a little fatter right now).  Pain killers can really make for a great day.
Well i am still not done packing and i think i am going to get some jello... word to your mama.

Sunday, April 10, 2005

Well it is Sunday night...here is some random thoughts about the weekend.

Friday night I went to springfest to see jars of clay.  When they finally got on stage to do some songs it was okay...just okay. The event itself however made me sick to the stomach.  I never realized before how commercial Christianity can be.  For example:  There were dozens of spot lights for the event... now I realize that lights are pretty to look at....each spot light cost between 80 and 150 dollars. Don't you think that money could be used somewhere else in the advancement of God's kingdom, or was each light crucial to a person developing a relationship with Christ?  The music was crazy loud and I could not help but to think that standing in front of blaring speakers is really honoring the temple of God.  Would Jesus try to go deaf.  It made me very sad. At one time in my life i really supported these big evangelism productions...and I do mean productions...but now I am just disgusted by them.  anyway,

Saturday was great I was really productive... I am sorry that I have put of getting in contact with certian people ( I am very excited, but I was trying to find a car...but if you want to drive that would be okay.  sorry)

Sunday,  well I skipped church this morning.  I felt kind of guilty, but then I recalled a conversation that I had with someone:

Me - Where did you go to church?

Someone - I skipped church, and I feel like crap.

Me - Why?

Someone - Well... you are supposed to worship God on the Sabbath.

(Pause)

Me - No, we are supposed to worship God everyday.  We are supposed to rest on the Sabbath.

Funny how your own words can cycle in your head from time to time.  I figure that I needed the rest, and I still went to celebration so it is not all bad.

I have to get to work on my college writing paper. Yay (insert false joy here).

Side bar - I noticed that you see people in different light after they have suffered. I don't judge them anymore.  Why is that.  I just want to hug them and tell them it will be okay, even though I am not sure if it will.  Maybe I don't need to say anything ...just hug them.  Hugging can be powerful.  I think that no other form of body language can speak quite as loudly as a hug.
